Flag I'm Kathryn/Errol. I'm a 12 year old girl and I live in Tokyo, Japan although I'm British. Cathy Cassidy is such a great author. She is definitely not an author to miss, especially if you like authors like Jacqueline Wilson, Meg Cabot or Jean Ure. I hope you like Driftwood if you decide to read it.

Here's my review of the book
Driftwood
by Cathy Cassidy.

What this book is about:

Hannah has always been best friends with Joey, just the two of them. But when Joey's family decide to foster a boy called Paul, things get changed a bit. First Joey falls for Kit, Hannah's brother, and Hannah's starting to realise that what first looked like light teasing of Paul by her brother's friends might be more serious. Hannah has lost her best friend for the time being and Paul is refusing to let Hannah tell anyone about the bullying because he doesn't want to get sent back to a Children's Home. Hannah knows she shouldn't keep quiet but she doesn't want Paul to leave either. Joey keeps promising to help Hannah but she doesn't believe anything against Kit or his friends. Hannah feels like her world is falling apart and not even Paul's 'beach magic' can hold it together. What should she do?

What I think about this book:

I like it so much! It never gets boring and I was always wanting to know what happened next. I just had to read on until the end to see how things resolved.

Where I got this book from:

I first borrowed it from a friend and then I ordered it from Red House

Other books by this author that I like are:

Dizzy, Indigo Blue, Sundae Girl and Lucky Star.
