What this book is about:
This is a sequel to A Family Apart. It is about Mike and his foster family. When Mike's harsh family picks Mike off the orphan train (Because he is the last boy) Mike misses his family. On the way to Mike's new home with his new family he overhears about his 'new' dad killing this other man (Or that's what it seems) When the family is mean and don't take care of Mike, Mike gets suspicious. Then his only friend that was a hired hand leaves (Or Mikes new dad kills him too) Mike is afraid about what might happen to him.
