Here's my review of the book
Born to Rule
by Kathryn Lasky
from the series
Camp Princess.
What this book is about:
It's summer time and Princess Alicia of all the Belgravia's is headed off to Camp Princes for her first ever session! She arrives at the start of camp and finds out that she has to stay in the haunted South Turret and is stuck on the Purple Team for the color wars. Her turretmates are Princess Gundersnap of the Empire of Slobodkonia and the Princess Kristen of the Isles of the Salt Tears in the Realm of Rolm. For the most part, Alicia enjoys herself. She and her turretmates must catch a songbird and teach it to sing in less then 2 weeks and they are having little to no luck at all with making their weeb sing. The weather at the camp is completely crazy so most of the time is spent with the needlepoint counsler, Lady Merry von Schleppenspiel. One night, Alicia finds herself faced with the ghostly presence of a forgotten princess searching for her love. What does the ghost want? Will the princesses ever get their weeb to sing?
