Flag I'm Michael. I'm a 9 year old boy. I live in Texas, U.S.A. Hi, my favorite type of stories are mysteries because they are so fun when you have to find out who did it or where the diamond is hidden. I also like to watch old Sherlock Holmes movies.

Here's my review of the book
The Mystery Girl
by Gertrude Chandler Warner
from the series
The Boxcar Children.

What this book is about:

Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny Alden used to live alone in an old boxcar. Now they have a home with their Grandfather in Greenfield, and are going to work at Taylor's General Store!
Things go fine until a worker, a young girl named Nancy, begins acting strange. This is where the mystery begins. Soon, it looks as if Nancy is stealing from Mr. Jerry Taylor, the owner! What will the Aldens do? Why is Nancy acting so strange? And why is Mrs. Edwards (the customer who has never bought anything) looking inside Nancy's cabin?
All of this can be solved in one of the best Boxcar Children mysteries, The Mystery Girl, #29 of the 111 mysteries in the series. This spectacular mystery is a treat for the whole family!

What I think about this book:

I think this book is terrific, but there might be better Boxcar Children mysteries. I don't know, I haven't read the whole series yet.

Where I got this book from:

Half Price Books

Other books by this author that I like are:

The Mystery on the Train, The Mystery of the Hidden Beach, and The Hurricane Mystery.
