My name is Nina. I am 11. I live in the world of books! I have six pets, and a ton of books! Harry Potter and Twilight are my favorite series.

Here's my review of the book
New Moon
by Stephenie Meyer.

What this book is about:

New Moon, second in the Twilight series, starts out on Bella's eighteenth birthday. Bella couldn't be less happy. She is terrified of growing old- and wants nothing more than to become a vampire and to be with her beloved Edward forever. But, Edward, who deeply loves Bella as well, is worried about her safety. She is still recovering from her near-death experience the year before, and when Edward's adopted brother, Jasper, nearly kills her just because Bella gets a paper cut- Edward knows it's better for her if he leaves. Edward convinces Bella that he doesn't love her anymore, and the Cullens move out of Forks. Bella is heartbroken. For several months she doesn't associate with anyone, just dwells in her misery. But one day, she decides to go visit her old friend, Jacob Black. To her surprise; she finds she can be her old self again with him, and Bella and Jacob become extremely close. And then, Jacob becomes a werewolf. Bella is once again thrust into the world of mythical creatures, and struggles to maintain friends with her new-found wolfish friend. But then she discovers that her old love, Edward, is in danger, and she must rush to Italy in a desperate attempt to save him from the royals of the vampire world: The Volturi. How will this exciting and suspenseful fantasy end?

What I think about this book:

I thought it was very well written, and has some interesting plot-twists. It is very sad though. I would recommend it for ages 12 and up.
