The Witches
by Roald Dahl.
What this book is about:
The Witches is about an 8 year old boy and his grandmother. The little boy lives with his grandmother and the grandmother knows everything about witches. So every night the grandmother tells the little boy (I put down little boy because they don't tell you his name) What to look for in a witch ever night just a little story about them. The grandmother and the little boy ues to live in Norway but the fathers finaly wish want them to move to England (Where the little boys home was). So they have to move to England. In the summer the where gogin to vist Norway on Summer vaction But the grandmother gets very ill. In a week she is better. But they can not risk the trip. SO they go to a hotel. Before that the grandmother gives the little Mice as pets. The little boy named them Willian and Mary. They hotel was very happy about the little boy bring mice to there hotel. The mice had to stay in their cage or else. the little boy finds a Quite room and plays with his mice out of the cage. Then These ladys come in. All witches look like ladys. The witches hold a meeting once a year. Oh yes witches hate chidren! They think we smell like dog poop! Oh yes the clener you are the worse you smell to witches. the little boy stays hids right up till the very end they smelled him out! The chianed and loocked the doors. They give a thing (I am not going to tell you what the thing is) that turns him into a mouse. That is all I am going to tell you! Now go get the book!
What I think about this book:
I loved the book! A little scary but not that bad at all! I am going to get more books by him soon (I hope)
