What this book is about:
this book is about alice mckinley whos about to turn thirteen years old and whos mom died when she was little. alice's aunt sally says alice needs to be the woman of the house for her brother and father, lester and ben. she befriends a bully named denise. with all the stress of being the woman of the house the boys in her grade are naming all the girls states on the measurement of thieir bust size. she throws a surprise party for her dad and it went all wrong except for the gift that her dads girlfriend, alices english teacher. two days later at school she finds out denise comitted suicide because she felt like no one cared about her. while cleaning the house alice starts screaming and crying that she doesnt want to be the woman of the house. then her dad says she doesnt have to be and that aunt sally didnt mean it.

I love this book and I think its very good.
