Shiloh
by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor.
What this book is about:
This book is about a boy named Marty Preston whos always concerned about animals. One day while he was in the woods he met a small beagle who was very shy and seemed very scared. It follows Marty home and he names it Shiloh. He finds out that the dog belongs to Judd Travers, a mean bachelor, so him and his dad take the dog back to Judd. When thet get there Judd kicks the dog and admits that he abuses and starves his dogs. thats why Shiloh seems so scared all the time. It hurts Marty to leave Shiloh there but he has to. He finds out how to get Shiloh by working for Judd and he gets Shiloh for his own and they live happily ever after that is until Judd realizes he wants Shiloh back,but you have to read the next book, Shiloh Season.

I think this book us very good and touching and I love it!
