I'm Allie. No problem, Arya/Eowyn, about answering the question:) Anything I say is for everyone to read and reply to!
Ben, so have you read the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" books? The recent one, "The Battle of the Labyrinth" was absolutely fantastic, if you're interested in reading it (if you've read the others in the series)!

Link to Write Page Message #90 Posted on Tuesday, May 6, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Hi Ben! It's a good book! It is fun to think there's something about twins, and they do tend to know each other exceptionally well, so they know when the other is hurting or something. Hi Ally! I don't know who my fave character is (yes, I know the Q wasn't directed at me)....maybe Phillipa. I can relate to her somewhat, myself.

Link to Write Page Message #89 Posted on Tuesday, May 6, 2008

I'm Allie. Hey Ben! Thanks for the Percy Jackson movie info--that's pretty cool that there will be a film version! As for the "Children of the Lamp" books, I read all the books out so far, and loved them. I agree, there is something special about twins--and they're fun to read about, too! One of my favorite parts about the books are Philippa and John's focus words:) Who's your favorite character, by the way? Mine is Mr. Groanin.

Link to Write Page Message #88 Posted on Monday, May 5, 2008

I'm Ben. Hi, I have read Children of the Lamp 2. I also think there's something about twins. It's probably because of all that superstition about them, like they can read each others mind and feel each other's pain. Thats probably why they like to put them in books. Anyway, I am on the chapter AKHENATEN, so far its a very good book. I hope other people think so too.

Link to Write Page Message #87 Posted on Monday, May 5, 2008

I'm Ben. I would like to tell anyone who wants to know about the cast in the new Percy Jackson movie. There is a video on YouTube that shows the cast of that movie (real) I think that a Percy Jackson fan will love it! I did not make the video.

Link to Write Page Message #86 Posted on Sunday, May 4, 2008

I'm Allie. Hey guys! Any "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" fans who didn't know, there is a video of Rick Riordan reading the first chapter (or part of it) of the newest book, "The Battle of the Labyrinth" on YouTube! The book will be released Tuesday, and I can't wait:)

Link to Write Page Message #85 Posted on Saturday, May 3, 2008

I'm Allie. Hi Chriz and Angela! I've heard about "Night," but I haven't read it. My language arts teacher mentioned it, and said that it was very emotionally affecting--probably too much so, for me, because I enjoy happy books:)

Link to Write Page Message #84 Posted on Friday, May 2, 2008

I'm Angela. Hey Chriz! I've heard of Night. It's about the Holocaust, right? It looked really sad, but I might want to to read it. Is it worth reading?

Link to Write Page Message #83 Posted on Wednesday, April 30, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Hi Ya'll! Has anyone read Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale? I was sooo excited about it!!I really liked a couple parts, which I'll only say if anyone else has read it.

Link to Write Page Message #82 Posted on Sunday, April 27, 2008

I'm chriz. hi I have been reading the book Night by elie wiesel and I think if I would of been in that horrible place I wouldnt no what to do. I feel really bad for elie how his mother and youngest sister died like that and how his dad was so0 thirsty yellin for water it just makes me cry when I hear about what went down during that time period.i just cant wait ti finish the book its very sad but a good book!

Link to Write Page Message #81 Posted on Thursday, April 24, 2008

I'm Allie. Hi Albus/Matthew! I enjoyed "Ella Enchanted." The movie really isn't too bad--if you like Anne Hathaway. (I like her from "Princess Diaries".) I thought the letters were sometimes pretty funny--especially stepsister-written ones.

Link to Write Page Message #80 Posted on Monday, April 21, 2008

I'm Albus/Matthew. Hi Angela! I couldn't agree more! I thought the book was awesome. The twisted fairy tales are pretty neat. No, I have not seen the movie, and I don't really want to because it will probably make me mad that it is nothing like the book. Hee hee! :-)

Link to Write Page Message #79 Posted on Monday, April 21, 2008

I'm Angela. Hi Albus/Matthew! I LOVED Ella Enchanted!! I personally thought it was a great book, though the movie was just okay. Have you seen the movie? I like twisted fairy tales a lot. Arya, I'm beginning to read Pride and Predjudice and I love the movie [the old one]. That's by Jane Austen, right? I actually forgot the author's name, so I may be making a mistake, but I'm almost absolutely positive she wrote that. Has anybody read Poison?

Link to Write Page Message #78 Posted on Sunday, April 20, 2008

I'm Albus/Matthew. Hi guys! Has anyone read 'Ella Enchanted'? I red it recently and I loved it!

Link to Write Page Message #77 Posted on Wednesday, April 16, 2008

I'm Allie. Hey Mandy! Yeah, I was thinking that myself! The editors' jobs are to catch silly mistakes like that:)

Link to Write Page Message #76 Posted on Sunday, April 13, 2008

I'm Mandy. No, Allie, I haven't read that book, or heard of it. Do you think maybe they meant to make the name misspelled? I dunno, It seems crazy. I thought a publisher would catch that kind of mistake! Weird!!

Link to Write Page Message #75 Posted on Sunday, April 13, 2008

I'm Allie. Hi guys! Has anyone read/bought the new Septimus Heap book, "Queste" by Angie Sage? I love the series! If anyone has the book, did you notice that Ephaniah Grebe's name is misspelled on the front cover, in the stamp? It says "Ehpaniah!"

Link to Write Page Message #74 Posted on Saturday, April 12, 2008

I'm Sil. Maddie- I beg to differ! The Princess diaries books rock! But I'm not all the way through them, and my friend accidentally told me *SPOILER* that she breaks up with Micheal, which makes both the movie and the books kinda bad! And what's up with Genovia turning into a Monarchy in the second movie? That boy she stomps on who ruins her perfect engagement was so ugly! I wanted Mia to marry that Scottish dude1 He was perfect! Forget love! Having a unicorn on your side is the best! Just joking, but seriously. Allie- I don't live in the country, but I love to travel there and I one time spent the night in my aunt's wheat field! I fell asleep and she didn't wake me up! Arya- so sorry! I guess I was a little misleading! I'm just myself getting into Sense and Sensibility. Other than that I have only read Northanger Abbey. Ii did recently find Emma at a yardsale, and plan to read it ASAP.

Link to Write Page Message #73 Posted on Friday, April 11, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Hi Sil! You read Jane Austen? What do you think of Emma? I'm starting to read it. I got my mom this giant collection of Jane Austen stories that weighs like 5 lbs., so I figure they should be pretty good. My mom's reading Sense and Sensibility, and I started Lady Susan. I think Lady Susan is kind of illogical. I mean, at the very beginning (the book is a bunch of letters) she's lamenting about having not been a good mother and how the nanny she hired isn't filling the post, and then she's going to go and send her kid to boarding school. Smart lady, especially since it's an expensive one and she doesn't have enough money for it. I didn't really get much from Emma yet, except that her companion just got married and so her and her dad are feeling sorry for her, but they're really just feeling sorry for themselves...Oei. Hi Quinn! I love the Giver, too. I should probably start Messenger...and since Gabriel is a baby when the book ends, maybe about a year and a half old, then Jonas would probably be...19 in Messenger.

Link to Write Page Message #72 Posted on Friday, April 11, 2008

I'm Quinn. I have been recently been reading books by Lois Lowry, and I just realized something. I first read The Giver, and I LOVED it except for the end because it left me hanging. But then I read Messenger, and I figured out what happened at the end of The Giver.
Jonas and Gabriel, who ran away in The Giver, started Village. In Messenger, Jonas is about 5-9 years older and gabriel is 8 years old. If you ahve read The Giver, I recommend reading Messenger if you want to know what happened to Jonas and Gabriel.

Link to Write Page Message #71 Posted on Tuesday, April 8, 2008

I'm Allie. Hi Sil--I actually just read "Chasing Redbird" over the weekend. It was enjoyable, and I did like how Sharon Creech made Zinny a friend of Sal Hiddle's, since Sal was in "Walk Two Moons." I only had a little trouble believing that Zinny could stay outside by herself for so long, but that's probably because I don't live in the country.

Link to Write Page Message #70 Posted on Tuesday, April 8, 2008

I'm Maddie. Hi Arya! I've seen both of the Princess Diaries movies. They are much better then the books in my oppinion. Never thought I'd hear myself say that a movie is better than the books....
Maddie

Link to Write Page Message #69 Posted on Monday, April 7, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Hi ya'll! Well, I've seen the Princess Diaries movies, and I started to read the first book, but I don't like them much. It's just a regular old diary type thing, and that's not bad- I just don't like the book. The movie's good, though.

Link to Write Page Message #68 Posted on Saturday, April 5, 2008

I'm Sil. Like woah, people replied. I don't know what my favorite part is...I like romance so mayhap Jake Boone...he's so silly!

Link to Write Page Message #67 Posted on Saturday, April 5, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Hello! I've not read Bridge to Terabithia or Sharon Creech's books. But has anyone read the Maximum Ride book? I'm considering them, and I was wondering what ya'll think of it.

Link to Write Page Message #66 Posted on Friday, April 4, 2008

I'm Mandy. It is very sad- but very amusing and cool. It really isn't that depressing until the end. She has her own romance and she explains life in hiding. It isn't that sad. Anyway, yes I meant my message to go to Whats On Your Mind, and I asked Alan to move it there. =)

Link to Write Page Message #65 Posted on Friday, April 4, 2008

I'm Maddie. I haven't read the Diary of Anne Frank yet. It sounds like a depressing story.

Link to Write Page Message #64 Posted on Friday, April 4, 2008

I'm Maddie. Hi Sil! No, I haven't read any of Sharon Creech's books. Is she good?
Maddie

Link to Write Page Message #63 Posted on Friday, April 4, 2008

I'm Albus/Matthew. Hi Sil! I have read 'Chasing Redbird and I loved it!I don't really know what I liked so much about it, but it was really good.

Link to Write Page Message #62 Posted on Friday, April 4, 2008

I'm Allie. Hi Sil! I haven't read "Chasing Redbird," but what was your favorite thing about it?

Link to Write Page Message #61 Posted on Thursday, April 3, 2008

I'm Sil. I was in love with Sharon Creech, in, like, 4th and 5th grades. Now I've read all of her books. I really like Bloomability, as well. My favorite, though, is Chasing Redbird.

Link to Write Page Message #60 Posted on Thursday, April 3, 2008

I'm Anushka. Hi Angela I have read Great Expectations I thought it was a great book to me it was seeming kinda real.

Link to Write Page Message #59 Posted on Wednesday, April 2, 2008

I'm Caroline. Hey guys! It seems like you're having a hard time remembering the names from 'Bridge to Terabithia,' so I decided to clear things up a bit. Jesse, the main character is the boy who befriends the girl, Leslie. Leslie is the one who falls into the river. I hope that is clearer now to people who were confused!!
Caroline

Link to Write Page Message #58 Posted on Wednesday, April 2, 2008

I'm Rainbowstar. I have read the book Bridge to Terabithia too, I liked it a lot. It was a very sad book and had a sad ending, when the girl fell into the river.(I forgot what her name was, but I think it was Jessie).

Link to Write Page Message #57 Posted on Wednesday, April 2, 2008

I'm Angela. Hey everybody! I love Bridge to Terabithia and Sharon Creech's books! I'm not certain, but I think she wrote a book called Bloomability. It's sooo good. I read it a few years ago. It's about a girl who is kidnapped by her aunt and uncle and goes to a boarding school in Italy. It's a good coming of age story and it's really interesting. The author [Sharon Creech?] has a way of making realistic fiction really interesting. I usually only fall in love with fantasy fiction, but this one is really good. Has anybody read Great Expectations? Another great book!

Link to Write Page Message #56 Posted on Wednesday, April 2, 2008

I'm Maddie. Did you know that Bridge to Terabithia is based on a true story? Here's my source, http://www.terabithia.com/questions.html.

Link to Write Page Message #55 Posted on Tuesday, April 1, 2008

I'm Albus/Matthew. Hi Maddie! I read 'Bridge to Terabithia' and I loved it...except for when (I can't think of her name) falls in the river; that is really sad and unexpected.

Link to Write Page Message #54 Posted on Tuesday, April 1, 2008

I'm Allie. Hi Albus/Matthew! I love Sharon Creech's books too! I must confess that I haven't read them all...just "The Wanderer," "Granny Torrelli Makes Soup," "Love that Dog," and "Walk Two Moons." And a couple others I can't think of right now. (I've heard of "Ruby Holler" and "Chasing Redbird" but never read them.) What I enjoy most is Sharon Creech's unique style and characters. "The Wanderer" was great--I loved the poetic feel of it--and I'd especially recommend "Walk Two Moons".
Hi Maddie! I read "Bridge to Terabithia" a few years ago, and saw the movie over the summer. It was very emotional!

Link to Write Page Message #53 Posted on Monday, March 31, 2008

I'm Anushka. Hi Maddie I have read and seen the movie of Bridge To Terebithia.

Link to Write Page Message #52 Posted on Monday, March 31, 2008

I'm Caroline. Hey guys! Maddie- I have read "Bridge to Terabithia", and thoroughly (sp?) enjoyed it. What did you think of it?

Link to Write Page Message #51 Posted on Sunday, March 30, 2008

I'm Maddie. Has anyone ever read Bridge to Terabithia?
Maddie

Link to Write Page Message #50 Posted on Saturday, March 29, 2008

I'm Anushka. Hi Crystal yeah it does have some action but I wont say tons in the first few books not much action as she is only getting familiar with her surroudings and Your Welcome Allie in one called Fighting Fit they tell lots of stuff about the Roman Era.

Link to Write Page Message #49 Posted on Friday, March 28, 2008

I'm Albus/Matthew. Hey guys! I know this is a little of topic but, Has anyone read any of Sharon Creech's books? I love her books! I have read so far: Ruby Holler, Chasing Redbird, and I am in the middle of The Wanderer. I have been trying to find some of her other books, but I haven't had much luck.

Link to Write Page Message #48 Posted on Friday, March 28, 2008

I'm Allie. Thanks, Anushka! That sounds interesting--especially the historical bit. I've only read one other book with a main character who's already dead--"The Wish List" by Eoin Colfer (which I highly recommend!) and I was surprised to find that that perspective can be fascinating.

Link to Write Page Message #47 Posted on Friday, March 28, 2008

I'm Crystal. Hey, Anushka, I think that sounds like a cool book. Is it funny? I don't know... does it have tons of action in it?
Crystal

Link to Write Page Message #46 Posted on Thursday, March 27, 2008

I'm Anushka. Hi Maddie thanks and by the way the first book is called Winging It

Link to Write Page Message #45 Posted on Wednesday, March 26, 2008

I'm Maddie. Hi Anushka! That sounds really good! I'll have to try it!
Maddie

Link to Write Page Message #44 Posted on Tuesday, March 25, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Wow. I guess it'd be interesting...

Link to Write Page Message #43 Posted on Tuesday, March 25, 2008

I have collected the whole series.

Link to Write Page Message #42 Posted on Monday, March 24, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Hi Anushka! No, I haven't. What's it about?

Link to Write Page Message #41 Posted on Monday, March 24, 2008

I'm Allie. Hi Anushka! I haven't read those books. What are they about?

Link to Write Page Message #40 Posted on Saturday, March 22, 2008

I'm Anushka. Hey Everyone has anyone read the series- Mel Beeby Agent Angel by the Author Annie Dalton.

Link to Write Page Message #39 Posted on Saturday, March 22, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Hi Matthias! I agree that that's not always the case. Hi Allie! I agree- he's just not the same with both arms. =)

Link to Write Page Message #38 Posted on Friday, March 21, 2008

I'm Matthias of Redwall. Yes, I agree. But not always are not always... close. Some always complain about each other. But I do know two look-alikes. They may seem the same, but they both have different voices and personalities.

Link to Write Page Message #37 Posted on Friday, March 21, 2008

I'm Allie. Hey Arya/Eowyn! Twins do often seem a lot closer with each other than other siblings...maybe because they're the same age and can have more respect for the other's interests--in books, twins are usually a team, and teams are fun to read about. Any twins out there? I agree with you about the third "Children of the Lamp" book, too; it wasn't as good as the others. The part where Mr. Groanin's arm came back was kind of annoying to me...I guess because I liked him better without the arm since it made him unique:)

Link to Write Page Message #36 Posted on Thursday, March 20, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Hi Allie! I've read Children of the Lamp, too! I was I have all four books in hardcover. Yay! I have this weird thing where when I get a book, I want all the rest of the books in that edition. For example, when I bought The Tail of Emily Windsnap, I was a little disappointed that two of the books in the series I bought are in hardcover. Anyway, I was actually disappointed in the fourth COTL book because it just wasn't as good as the first three. Back to the point. I agree, there is! There seems to be something special about twins. My brother and I could be, mentally, not because we're always thinking the same thing (Although we do, a lot!), but because we're very close. We're extremely different, though!
I haven't actually finished The Alchemyst - we're on chapter 25 or something - but I'm almost there. My dad is reading it to my brother and me. (Is that the correct grammar, or would it be "my brother and I"? There's some weird grammar rule about it.)

Link to Write Page Message #35 Posted on Thursday, March 20, 2008

I'm Mandy. Thanks, Allie!

Link to Write Page Message #34 Posted on Thursday, March 20, 2008

I'm Allie. Hi Mandy! Though I haven't read it, according to the Amazon.com review, "Small Steps" is about Armpit's life since he's been released from Camp Green Lake.
Hello Arya/Eowyn! I've read "They Alchemyst" by Michael Scott. I agree--it was quite good. The twins are great characters...(now that I think of it, I've read a lot of fantasy books with the main characters being twins..."The Children of the Lamp" series by P.B. Kerr; "Doctor Illuminatus" and "Soul Stealer" by Martin Booth; "The Boggart" and "The Boggart and the Monster" by Susan Cooper...)

Link to Write Page Message #33 Posted on Monday, March 17, 2008

I'm Mandy. What is Small Steps about?

Link to Write Page Message #32 Posted on Sunday, March 16, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Yo! Has anyone else read The Alchemyst by Michael Scott? It's a pretty good book, methinks.
