I'm Kit Snicket. OK...have any of you ever seen the film 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' with Jim Carrey?

Link to Write Page Message #62 Posted on Tuesday, May 6, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. We really need a discussion starter on this page. Hmmm....any ideas?

Link to Write Page Message #61 Posted on Tuesday, April 15, 2008

I'm Arielle. Hi Kit! Thanks for the link. I'll check it out :P

I'm alican. I have been reading a series of unfortunate events for a long time now and I am on the twelfth book {the penultimate peril}.i have notice what lemony snicket has wrote on the back of his books and I do belive that he trys to get us {pepol}to not read his books about the baudelaires.NO I am not complaning but he is exaggerating a bit. yes I ador the baudelaires.no I am not their enime.yes I HATE count olaf.i always have HATTIED count olaf and always will but I do under stand where count olaf stands.yes I know that violte, klaus, and sunny has gone thrugh a lot so far.1 klaus had to spend his birthday in jail.2 they are orphans.3 olaf has been torching them.i hope that this has pointied a couple things out to you .

Link to Write Page Message #58 Posted on Monday, April 7, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. Hi Tianna! As I'm sure you know, for a long time the Baudelaire's had been hearing evidence of their father being alive. But, as far as VFD knows, they are positively dead.

Link to Write Page Message #57 Posted on Monday, April 7, 2008

I'm Tianna. Hi Kit, I have a question. Are the Baudelaires real, is one of their parents alive? If so, which one?

Link to Write Page Message #56 Posted on Friday, April 4, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. Why, thank you, Arielle. I used to have 3 very special accomplices, the Quagmire triplets. They were working undercover at a special website called http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page. They passed some of their knowledge to me before they disappeared. And if you go to the link above, you will discover how fine their researching skills are. (:
Hello again, tianna! Of course the Baudelaire's were real. As real as the fact that I'm Kit Snicket anyway.

Link to Write Page Message #55 Posted on Friday, April 4, 2008

I'm Arielle. Hi Albus/Matthew! V.F.D MAY stand for Volunteer Fire Department, but how do we know for sure? And to answer your question, The Beatrice Letters is sort of a part of the series, but its a book with letters from Beatrice to Lemony. Thats the best I can explain it, but if you want to know more.. at the top of this page Alan has listed all the books and if you click on the one in the last row (second one), click on it and you can read more about it. Kit, good job at answering those questions! lol :)

Link to Write Page Message #54 Posted on Friday, April 4, 2008

I'm Tianna. Thanks for the information,so were the Baudelaires real?

Link to Write Page Message #53 Posted on Friday, April 4, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. Well, tianna, I shall try to answer your questions as well as I can. My time with the Baudelaire's wasn't nearly as long as I wished. When I died, Violet was 16, Klaus was 14, and Sunny was 2. Unfortunately I don't know how old they would be now. And yes, Count Olaf is dead. In fact, he died alongside me on that remote island. And the books take place in several different areas. I couldn't say where all of them took place as I didn't meet the orphans until I met them after their time with Captain Widdershins.
Kit Snicket

Link to Write Page Message #52 Posted on Thursday, April 3, 2008

I'm tianna. if your the real kit snicket then i'd like to know, how old are the baudelaires now(in 2008),are they alive?is count olaf dead? what year was all this happening and what country and state was it in?

Link to Write Page Message #51 Posted on Thursday, April 3, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. Hi guys! Check out this link I found about Lemony Snicket! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemony_Snicket

Link to Write Page Message #50 Posted on Thursday, March 27, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. Hi Arielle! Yeah I read the 13th. And no I never really understood what VFD stands for. And that's true; we don't know for sure if they lived that long.
Hi Albus! The Beatrice Letters is another book that comes after the 1st 13 books.
Kit Snicket

Link to Write Page Message #49 Posted on Thursday, March 27, 2008

I'm Albus/Matthew. HI Arielle! I know you were talking to Kit, but doesn't V.F.D. stand for Volunteer Fire Department? And by the way, what Beatrice letters?

Link to Write Page Message #48 Posted on Thursday, March 27, 2008

I'm Arielle. Albus/Matthew, Kit Snicket is right. Violet did get the fortune when she truned 18. But if you guys have read The Beartice Letters, its implied that the Baudeleires MIGHT not be alive. So maybe they never got their fortune?.. But that isnt for sure. I read it, and it was pretty confusing. Kit Snicket, you read the 13th book right? Did you ever understand what the real V.F.D stood for?

Link to Write Page Message #47 Posted on Wednesday, March 26, 2008

I'm Albus/Matthew. Hi Kit! Sorry! I didn't mean to put thirteen, you are right, it is eighteen.

Link to Write Page Message #46 Posted on Wednesday, March 26, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. Thank you, Albus/Matthew for starting a discussion!!
I thought that Violet didn't get the fortune until she was 18? Or maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. Anyway, I'm sure that the Baudelaire's got the fortune either way and lived comfortably.
Kit Snicket

Link to Write Page Message #45 Posted on Wednesday, March 26, 2008

I'm Albus/Matthew. Hi guys! Arielle, you said exactly what I was thinking, it left you with a lot of unanswered questions. What did the Baudelaires grow up to be? I'm assuming they got their fortune when Violet turned thirteen, right? And there's a lot of other things too. Does anybody agree?

Link to Write Page Message #44 Posted on Wednesday, March 19, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. Guys? Come on. Any suggestions?

Link to Write Page Message #43 Posted on Monday, March 17, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. OK guys, we really need to start a discussion on this page. Any suggestions? Anyone? (crickets chirping)

Link to Write Page Message #42 Posted on Wednesday, March 12, 2008

I'm Maddie/Kit Snicket. Hi Arielle! I was really shocked the Olaf died too. I was hoping maybe he would get jail time but dying..

Link to Write Page Message #41 Posted on Wednesday, March 12, 2008

I'm Arielle. Hello Kit Snicket. Nice to meet you too! :) And to Sunny Baudelaire [Kathryn], I'm still trying to remember you. I'm not so sure. But guess what? Today, I finally remembered what name is used to go by, which was "Aly." Do you remember? Aww, that's too bad Volunteer D and VFD leader aren't here any longer. I didn't even get to say bye. But we became great friends (: And about the 13th book, I was not here any more after I read it. I honestly thought it was a bit dissapointing, only because I was still left with many unanswered questions. But I also liked it. I was VERY shocked that Cout Olaf died. What did you think of it? (:

Link to Write Page Message #40 Posted on Tuesday, March 11, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. Hi Arielle! Unfortunately, I had not yet discovered this site in 2006 so I don't know you. ): But I'm certainly glad to meet you now! And nice to meet you, falo!

Link to Write Page Message #39 Posted on Tuesday, March 11, 2008

I'm Sunny Baudelaire. Hi! Arielle, welcome back! I was here in 2006, I think I'd remember you. Are you sure you can't remember? Do you remember me? My name was Kathryn on this page before. Volunteer D and VFD Leader are both over 15 now : ( How did you like the 13th book? Or where you still here when it came out?
With all due respect,
Sunny Baudelaire

Link to Write Page Message #38 Posted on Monday, March 10, 2008

Link to Write Page Message #37 Posted on Saturday, March 8, 2008

I'm Sunny Baudelaire. Hi! Falo, I do remember you! Wow, that's a long time ago.. I don't think I had even finished reading ASOUE. I'm now Sunny on this page, I used to just have one name, Kathryn. Do you remember me? I remember when you used to give codes and stuff, it was good. Not much happens on this page now : (
Kathryn

Link to Write Page Message #36 Posted on Friday, March 7, 2008

I'm falo. I used to come on this website years back, good times. I was probably one of the first ones here, im sure no one here remembers me? I loved the books, and hope there will be one more to wrap up the loose ends.

Link to Write Page Message #35 Posted on Friday, February 29, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. Hi Selina! I don't have a copy of The Beatrice Letters so I can't really answer your question. Sorry! Hi Klaus! Which book are we supposed to be discussing now?

Link to Write Page Message #34 Posted on Saturday, February 23, 2008

I'm Selina. Hey last night I was going through my Beatrice Letters. Did anyone understand the push out letters? I was anble to get Snicket, then another time I got Beatrice.

Link to Write Page Message #33 Posted on Thursday, February 21, 2008

I'm Kit Snicket. Hi Shailynne! I like that part too! Hi Tucker! I think so too!

Link to Write Page Message #32 Posted on Wednesday, February 20, 2008

I'm shailynne. my fave part is the viper

Link to Write Page Message #31 Posted on Wednesday, February 20, 2008

I'm Maddie/Kit Snicket. Hi guys! I've decided to change my name to Kit Snicket on this discussion. And my favorite part of the TRR is when they first arrive and Uncle Monty was assigning their jobs. My favorite part of TWW was when Aunt Josephine was showing them around her house.

Link to Write Page Message #30 Posted on Wednesday, February 20, 2008

I'm Tucker. I love the Series of Unfortunate Events! Lemony Snicket is a genius!

Link to Write Page Message #29 Posted on Wednesday, February 20, 2008

I'm Bob. Dear Jessica ... you are right about violence in these books, but sometimes we find it necessary to learn what not to be like when we read a series. If you read Slippery Slope, it is not as violent as the others. Let me know what you think. Bob

Link to Write Page Message #28 Posted on Tuesday, February 19, 2008

I'm Klaus Baudelaire. My source is Lemony's site. I think we should be, but there was no discussion on TRR, so...

Link to Write Page Message #27 Posted on Monday, February 18, 2008

I'm Maddie. Hi Klaus! No, I haven't heard about that book. What's your source? And shouldn't we be starting on TWW today?

Link to Write Page Message #26 Posted on Friday, February 15, 2008

I'm Klaus. Hi guys! Have any of you heard that next year another book is coming out, by LS? It's called "The Composer is Dead!"

Link to Write Page Message #25 Posted on Tuesday, February 12, 2008

I'm Klaus. The World Is TOO Quiet Here...

Link to Write Page Message #24 Posted on Monday, February 11, 2008

I'm Maddie. Hi Akako! I was dissapointed with The End too. Lemony Snicket should write another book explaining things.

Link to Write Page Message #23 Posted on Saturday, February 9, 2008

I'm Akako. Dear Unfortunate Reader,
I love these books, but to be honested, I didn't like the ending of The End very much. It was like The Giver; Lemony wanted us to make up the ending. I really didn't like that though. Then he told us **ENDING** that Beatrice was their mother, right? I can't remember if that was what happened or what so, oh well.
With All Due Respect and with Love,
Akako

Link to Write Page Message #22 Posted on Friday, February 8, 2008

I'm jessica. I don't like the SOUE (series of unforunute events) books. they are way too violent.

Link to Write Page Message #21 Posted on Friday, February 8, 2008

I'm Klaus Baudelaire! [To: Maddie]
[From: Klaus Baudelaire]
Dear Volunteer,
I also loved that part! I was so scared when the Incredibly Deadly Viper bit Sunny! In the end though, and in The End, we all love Ink!
With All Due Respect,
Klaus Baudelaire

Link to Write Page Message #20 Posted on Thursday, February 7, 2008

I'm Maddie. Hi Klaus! I posted a reply to you post but for some reason it didn't show up. So here it is again. TRR is one of my favorite books in the series. I fondly remember the part whern your dear sister, Sunny, *spoiler* made friends with the Incredibly Deadly Viper.

Link to Write Page Message #19 Posted on Monday, February 4, 2008

I'm Akako. Dear Reader, thank you for reading this you kind person. But, unfortunatly this page is the saddest page of all pages. Lemony Snicket has written the account of the three unlucky Bauldilaries in thriteen unlucky volumes. These books are very sad and very, well, unlucky. Thank you for reading this. With all Due Respect, Akako

Link to Write Page Message #18 Posted on Monday, February 4, 2008

I'm Klaus Baudelaire. [To: Volunteers Forming Discussions]
[ From: Klaus Baudelaire, Dark Avenue]
Dear Volunteers,
I believe that today we should be discussing the events in mine and my sisters life at the Herpetological Home of Montegomery Montgomery. This is a stage in my life that I fondly remember. I loved helping our late Uncle Monty with his preperations for the journey to Peru, that we never made. What was your favourite part? In this weeks discussion I think we should also talk about how these books fit in with the rest of the ASOUE world, you know? Well, if not, you can find out tommorow!
With All Due Respect,
Klaus Baudelaire, Volunteer!

Link to Write Page Message #17 Posted on Saturday, February 2, 2008

I'm Klaus Baudelaire. To My Kind Little Sister,
I think we should only carry on until Sunday/Monday up date.
Yes, Sunny you are right about the village. Perhaps it's VFD.
With All Due Respect,
Klaus Baudelaire

Link to Write Page Message #16 Posted on Friday, February 1, 2008

I'm Sunny Baudelaire. Dear VFD,
Klaus, Tretchev (Sunny's word for welcome back ). We missed you. And you are right, I think in this case it is necessary to continue this discussion of the first tale of tragedy further due to absence. I did pick up on the laws part but I didn't really concentrate on it. That is a good point, but does it say anything in TE about not being able to pick apples? The only other one I remember is 'There is a town near you which has a law that bans me from coming withing 5 miles of its borders'. That is just typical of Mr.Snicket of course.
With all due respect,
Sunny Baudelaire

Link to Write Page Message #15 Posted on Thursday, January 31, 2008

I'm Klaus Baudelaire! To My Kind Volunteers,
Will you please consider revising the changeover? A phrase which here means, can we do another week (Until Weekend)of TBB please? I've thought of LOADS of TBB discussion!
Maddie, you seem to be confused; Book the Second is The Reptile Room, not The MIserable Mill, that is Book the Fourth!
Alan, I did post an ASOUE message on Tips last week! Can you please put it on this page? Thanks
With All Due Respect,
Klaus Baudelaire.

Link to Write Page Message #14 Posted on Thursday, January 31, 2008

I'm Maddie. Hi Sunny! I agree that TRR is one of the happiest books in the series. I almost cried when Uncle Monty died though. He was my favorite guardian that the Baudelaire's ever had.

Link to Write Page Message #13 Posted on Thursday, January 31, 2008

I'm Maddie. Correction on my last post; I meant TRR instead of TMM. Guess I wasn't paying attention.

I'm Klaus Baudelaire. [To my Dearest younger sister and Maddie!]
[From: Klaus, The cousins residence]
Re: Book The First
Dearest Sunny and Maddie!
I am very sorry to you both, I have had to leave home for a time, and when I returned my computer was destroyed, as was my Grandparents, Uncle and schools! This is the first chance I've had. Sunny, I'm as annoyed as you and I will try to sort something out! I have been doing something though! I have listened to TBB on Audio and picked out some Very Fascinating Discussion! Sunny particulaly, you may have noticed at the end of TBB LS writes a few paragraphs on Laws. He says that one law says that *SPOILER* An Island makes it illeagal to remove it's apples. Do you think it could be the Island in the End?
I have also decided to do a complete character profile on microsoft Powerpoint. When I have done, bearing in mind that I've not started- It will be available to all!
I also don't know if you noticed but a while back, my last post I did one for this discussion that somehow ended up on the Writing Tips page!
With All Due Respect,
Klaus Baudelaire !!
