I'm Arya/Eowyn. Disney better hurry up if they wanna make all 7.

Link to Write Page Message #57 Posted on Wednesday, April 30, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. Hi Sil! Well, it's been what, 3 years?

Link to Write Page Message #56 Posted on Sunday, April 27, 2008

I'm Sil. Oh my gosh I'm sooo excited. I saw an ad this morning for PC. Lucy looks so much older! So does everyone. I can't believe it. It's coming out the day before opening night of the play Romeo and Juliet that I'm in. It looked good, but I think it was a poorly set up ad. If I hadn't already read the book, and just been so unfortunate that I'd never heard of Narnia before, then I'm not sure if it would entice me to go and see it...hmmm.

Link to Write Page Message #55 Posted on Saturday, April 12, 2008

I'm Sil. I missed that before...shrek is dumb! Only the first one was good, and anyway the part with Fiona was overdone. I really don't like sos many fractured fairy tales these days. (the best was in between Rocky and Bullwinkle shows).

Link to Write Page Message #54 Posted on Friday, April 11, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. HI Maddie! I can't imagine what would be wrong with it. But I got that from a Christian family reviews site. Here's the link: http://www.pluggedinonline.com/movies/movies/a0002447.cfm The part where it talks about the PG-13 thing is at the bottom, where it says "conclusion". And I totally agree. Shrek is pretty dumb. Hi Sil! Maybe we should visit the site to find out, or maybe it's in Deleted Scenes on the DVD. I have it, so I'll check it out sometime soon. I wonder why they rated everything PG...

Link to Write Page Message #53 Posted on Tuesday, April 8, 2008

I'm Sil. Arya/Eowyn- Woah that is weird! You know, in the 80s they rated everything PG, no matter what! And now I learn Narnia was almost rated PG-13? How weird!

Link to Write Page Message #52 Posted on Tuesday, April 8, 2008

I'm Maddie. Wow Arya! What's in LWW that would make it PG13? I can't think of a single thing!
Ugh, I hate Shrek. It's just so dumb.
Maddie

Link to Write Page Message #51 Posted on Monday, April 7, 2008

I'm Arya/Eowyn. This discussion needs a topic...hmm.. Did anyone else know that the LWW movie was cut a little bit to avoid a PG-13 rating? Frankly, I don't think that it would have deserved that anyway; PG is good enough. I wouldn't know about it, though, because I haven't seen the cut parts. Also, did anyone else know that the LWW movie was directed by the same guy who made Shrek? I was rather surprised, considering the moral difference. Shrek, frankly, in my opinion, is a bit of a crude movie, not mentioning some of the themes. It's not actually the best movie. Kind of weird (Shrek) if you ask me. But I LOVE LWW.

Link to Write Page Message #50 Posted on Tuesday, March 25, 2008

I'm Sil. Wow, Kathryn, you actually sent the time to figure that out. I congratulate you.

Link to Write Page Message #49 Posted on Monday, March 24, 2008

I'm Arya. Hi Kathryn! Nice math! I don't think any exact time frame is given in TLB, but you did a great job figuring out their ages.

Link to Write Page Message #48 Posted on Sunday, March 23, 2008

I'm Kathryn/Errol/Sunny Baudelaire. Hi! I never thought about the fact that the adult actors would be older as well. Oops. Okay so I'm going to start going down through the books... Lets say Lucy was 8 in LWW then one year later she would be 9 in PC. By VDT, the adventures in LWW are described as 'long ago in the war years'. If you say that by then Lucy was 11 or 12 and Eustace was a couple of years younger, say 9 or 10 because he was still allowed in Narnia after VDT. The in SC, a year later he meets up with Jill and so they would both be about 11 or 12. In LB, Eustace says 'we were here ages and ages ago, more than a year ago by our time' so they would be 12 or 13. If you say that Lucy was 2 years older she would be 14 or 15. Then Edmund 15 or 16 and Peter about 18 or 19. Of course, Polly and Digory were much older. It's kind of weird to think of them being that age because I'd always thought of them as all being adults in LB.
Kathryn

I'm Arya. hi sil! I'm using my dad's iPhone so sorry for any typos. I personally think it refers to early 20's...

Link to Write Page Message #46 Posted on Sunday, March 23, 2008

I'm Sil. In "young men and women" I think it means teen-agers. I just think the term didn't quite exist.

Link to Write Page Message #45 Posted on Saturday, March 22, 2008

I'm Arya. Hi Kathryn! I think they'll use the same actors, because it describes them as "young men and women" in TLB, so they would use them- the actors that portray them as adults would be a bit older by then. Hi Abby! Me neither!

Link to Write Page Message #44 Posted on Friday, March 21, 2008

I'm Kathryn/Errol/Sunny Baudelaire. Hi! Arya, I think the same as you for the same reason. Also it's the next book in the chronological order of the story and the way it will make the most sense to people who haven't read the books. Also someone else might have brought this up before - I can't quite remember - but do you think in TLB they will use the young actors in LWW, the adult actors in LWW or entirely new actors. By the time they do TLB the young Pevensie actors will actually have grown up so they could actually play the part as adults. lol.
Kathryn

Link to Write Page Message #43 Posted on Friday, March 21, 2008

I'm Abby . I can not wait for the new movie!!

Link to Write Page Message #42 Posted on Friday, March 21, 2008

I'm Arya. New topic: Which Narnia book do you think Disney will do next? I think they'll do The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, because its the next book with the Pevenskies and also has Prince Caspian in it, so they'll use it to preserve the appearances of the actors.

Link to Write Page Message #41 Posted on Monday, March 17, 2008

I'm Maddie. Hi Sil! I know what you mean. I started the Hobbit and couldn't even get into it at all. I guess some books are like that.
Maddie

Link to Write Page Message #40 Posted on Monday, March 17, 2008

I'm Sil. That's okay, Maddie, I couldn't finish LOTR either.

Link to Write Page Message #39 Posted on Saturday, March 15, 2008

I'm Arya. Okay, Maddie. Hi Josie! What do you mean?

Link to Write Page Message #38 Posted on Friday, March 14, 2008

I'm Maddie. Sorry Sil and Arya! I just couldn't bring myself to finish it. I'm probably going to skip it and go on to Prince Caspian. Sorry!

Link to Write Page Message #37 Posted on Thursday, March 13, 2008

I'm josie. what happend at the very end on book 2

Link to Write Page Message #36 Posted on Thursday, March 13, 2008

I'm Arya. Hi Lucy Pendragon! First, yes, Prince Caspian is coming out on May 16. Second, (this one's for Maddie, too) I agree that The Horse and His Boy was a bit off the story line. I don't really see why CSL put it in the series, but it's still a great book. I agree with you, Sil!

Link to Write Page Message #35 Posted on Thursday, March 13, 2008

I'm Sil. Maddie- I beg to differ!

Link to Write Page Message #34 Posted on Thursday, March 13, 2008

I'm Maddie. Hi Lucy! I couldn't bring myself to finish the Horse and His Boy. It was soo dull.

Link to Write Page Message #33 Posted on Thursday, March 13, 2008

I'm Lucy Pendragon. Did anyone else get draged down in The boy and His horse? That one seemed really boring to me. But all the (that I read) others i really liked. Personly i like the BBC movies the best even though they are cheesy thier are more of them curently. Oh and did any hear they are making another narnia movie? I heard it on a movie reivew show. I'm really looking forward to that one.

I'm Magan. *Narnia is great*!! By:Magan

Link to Write Page Message #31 Posted on Thursday, March 6, 2008

I'm Arya. Hi Abby! Me 2!

Link to Write Page Message #30 Posted on Wednesday, March 5, 2008

I'm Maddie. Hi Abby! I agree even though I haven't read the entire series yet. (I've only read the first two)

Link to Write Page Message #29 Posted on Tuesday, March 4, 2008

I'm Abby. I think the Narnia books and movies are awsome!! My favortie books are books 1 and 2. My favorite part of the movie is when the kids became king and queens of Narnia. I love the books and the movie!!

Link to Write Page Message #28 Posted on Tuesday, February 26, 2008

I'm Arya. LOL! I liked them a lot until I watched the Disney one. They're still OK, but not quite as good.

Link to Write Page Message #27 Posted on Monday, February 25, 2008

I'm Sil. Arya- The BBC ones just make me laugh, and are incredibly longs.

Link to Write Page Message #26 Posted on Friday, February 22, 2008

I'm Arya. Hi, Matthias of Redwall! (Can I just call you Matthias?) Prince Cor and Sil are right. And are you speaking of the Disney movies, or the other ones I can't remember the brand name of? Because in my opinion, Disney did a pretty good job, as did the other people. The other one was just...a tad cheesy.

Link to Write Page Message #25 Posted on Wednesday, February 20, 2008

I'm Sil. Prince Cor-I totally agree. I think people can get a little too angry about movies not being true to the books, when what matters to me is how entertaining they are. The one movie that was a disappointment was The ASOUE movie. In the words of Simon Cowell, it was "absolutely dreadful". It just didn't work. But most movies of books work wonderfully and are quite entertaining.

Link to Write Page Message #24 Posted on Wednesday, February 20, 2008

I'm Prince Cor. The Narnia movies are awesome. It doesn't matter if the movies aren't accurate. In the movies, all that really matters is if they entertain you. I think that The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was an awesome movie.

Link to Write Page Message #23 Posted on Sunday, February 17, 2008

I'm Matthias of Redwall. Narniamovies arenot... accurate. I don't really like them. If you ask me,the books are better. They are always.

Link to Write Page Message #22 Posted on Saturday, February 16, 2008

I'm Arya. Lol, Charlotte! Prince Caspian (in the US, at least) comes out May 16th. I'm pretty sure they're gonna keep at it!

Link to Write Page Message #21 Posted on Friday, February 15, 2008

I'm Charlotte. I LOVED the Narnia film.! I hope they make another, coz I read the books when I was quite young and didn't really understand them.! Also James McAvoy (who played Mr Tumnus) is actually sooo amazingly gorgeous and good looking.!

Link to Write Page Message #20 Posted on Thursday, February 14, 2008

I'm Arya. Maybe, Oromis, but I personally think that he was done.

Link to Write Page Message #19 Posted on Wednesday, February 13, 2008

I'm Oromis! Hi, Sil!
I think that another book would be great. I also think that if CSL have lived longer, he would have wrote more- Look at HHB- No relavence to the rest what so ever. I think he would have wrote more like that, don't you think?
For Narnia and For Aslan!

Link to Write Page Message #18 Posted on Tuesday, February 12, 2008

I'm Arya. Ralecia, I totally agree! I know what you mean, Akako! I really like Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Link to Write Page Message #17 Posted on Tuesday, February 12, 2008

I'm Sil. This page needs a discussion starter: what do you think of the prospect of someone else writing another narnia book, to continue it? If you do, what would be a good plot-line?

Link to Write Page Message #16 Posted on Monday, February 11, 2008

I'm Sil. Oromis-Yes, and he also plays all sorts of midgets all over cinema and TV.

Link to Write Page Message #15 Posted on Monday, February 11, 2008

I'm Ralecia. All the Narnia books are awsom to my opinion. They have wonderful adventures.I wish I was in it.

Link to Write Page Message #14 Posted on Saturday, February 9, 2008

I'm Oromis! Hi everyone. I was just on IMDB and I saw that the actor who plays Flitwick in Harry Potter is the same guy a Nickabric in PC.

Link to Write Page Message #13 Posted on Saturday, February 9, 2008

I'm Akako. I love all the books, ecspecailly The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It was full of action and suspense. I could not understand how such a gentle man could make a book so thrilling that it's a number one book! His other six Narnia books are all thrilling and actionpacked.
Love, Akako

I'm Sil. I love Narnia, too, Magan!
