Hello! In the past few months, I've experienced many new books and authors which are some of the best around. In a nutshell, the most favourable books I have undergone are: Vasco, Leader of the Tribe, which is about a certain rat, who in struggle, tries to defy all logic by going against the flow of things in the town where he calls home- the extinction of his race-rats. This thrilling, page-turner is by Anne-Laure Bondoux. It is catagorized under action/survival. I highly recommend it. It is delightful. Also, for the lovers of mystery, (I am one of them), The Grk series is pretty good, although it is a bit average for many of you (I won't keep a secret, I thought so too! [by the way it is about a dog and his owner {both English} who go around the world solving mysteries]). I'd recommend it. It is by Joshua Doder (An Englishman). The Ulysses Moore series (about Julia and her bro who move to the English coast) is pretty good too. It is authored by Pierdomenico Baccalario (An Italian author), [codenamed] Ulysses Moore. The last two books/authors/series are my ultimate favorite. The Orange Trees of Versailles is certain to satisfy your action-packed, historic fiction needs. It is about Marion, a common girl, whose unusual talents with scents rises her from being a maid to being one of the friends of the Queen Antoinette. It is set in early to mid-18th century, in the reign of one of the most extravagant kings, King Louise XVI. Lastly, but definetly not leastly, the author Blue Balliett's books are, briefly stated, one of the most preeminent books in history. It is so exorbitant, that I musn't spoil the suprise for you! The books Chasing Vermeer, Wright 3 and The Calder Game have earned so many awards- and they procured them. They are a mix between history, action, adventure, friends and family and more!

My favorite authors are C.S. Lewis - The Chronicals of Narnia, Lemony Snicket - A Series of Unfortunate Events, & Liz Kessler - The tail of Emily Windsnap. These books are very intresting if you are in to fantasy the only thing is Lemony Snicket books arn't fantasy. I hope if you read The Tail of Emily Windsnap or The Chronicals of Narnia you will go into a world of imagination.

I think books by Mary Hahn are great books for anyone to read. Time For Andrew is a great one by her. I also think Judy Blume is a great author too. Sally J. Freedom Staring herself is a great one. Read it in four days. Super fudge is a classic. I think books are a good way to spend the day.

Hey! I love reading! You know, reading is my most favorite subject in school! My most beloved book is The Frog Princess, and my most second loved books are the Harry Potter chronicles, by J.K. Rolling of course. Harry Potter is an inspiration of mine. The Frog Princess is just the most exciting, adventurous book I have led my eyes across. To me, this book is a most difficult exciting. That's why I love that book. So, now you know my treasured books, and I hope all of the kids who love books(like i do)choose to read that spectacular book. (I'm talking about "The Frog Princess")

I love the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. It is about a 12 year old boy who's father is Poseidon, greek god of the sea. Percy is just trying to fit in when monsters are attacking him at every corner! His best friends Annabeth and Grover(who loves to eat enchiladas and tin cans!) are always there to help him defeat monsters but his enemy Luke is trying to over throw the gods by helping Titan lord Kronos rise. After world war 2 the 3 big gods(Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades) made a pact not to have any more children. But an ancient prophecy says that the next child of the big 3 will have the power to destroy Olympus or save it when they turn 16. So Percy is hated by most of the gods and has to struggle to survive till he is 16 so he can save Olympus. There are 4 books so far in the series, The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's curse, and the latest one, The Battle of the Labyrinth.

When I go to the library I always stray to the same place. Margaret Peterson Haddix. Her books always surprise with tricky plots and action. My favourites of hers are Double Identidy and the whole Shadow children series.

Hi! I'm Isabella. I'm 11 years old (soon to be 12). I live in Rochester U.S.A.
I just finished reading The Fellowship of the Ring. It was SO good! It is now one of my FAVORITE bookes of all time! I think everyone should read it because it has a battle between good and evil kind of like Harry Potter- only better! There are also two other books in The Lord of the Rings series: The Two Towers and The Return of the King. I hope anyone who reads these books likes the as much as me! Also, I'm not done reading it, but Legacy is REALLY good! The author is Cayla Kluver. It takes place in medieval times. It is a fantasy, but not with dragons and fairies. I don't know how Cayla ever thought it up! She is really good. Everyone should read this because it a lot of excitement and suspense. I can't stop reading it! Anyone who wants a nice long book to read in the summer should get this book.

I love the book "The Name of This Book is Secret" By Pseudonymous Bosch. It is a very exciting mystery story, but it is also very funny because the narrator can't tell you a lot of information. You'll see what I mean if you read the book! I saw this book at the bookstore one day and I hadn't heard of it and it looked interesting, so I bought it. It was so good, I couldn't put it down!! I recommend this book to people of all ages.

Hey, my favorite books have got to be the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. She is an amazing author, and I've read all of her books in this series at least four times. Hey, I am Sophia and I just LOVE the series of unfortunate events! it is about three kids whose parents die in a fire and an evil man wants to steal their fortune! on their journey they meet new friends and old, people who can tell them about their past and people who can hurt them, people who can help, and people who are deadly. Lemony Snicket is an amazing author and I just luv him!! there are 13 books in the series, and in the end an unexpected loved one is found... an evil hated one is killed, this series is filled with sorrow, happiness, love, humor, joy, and evilness. It is soo amazing... consider reading it, cuz it is just awesome!!1

Hey! One of my favorite books that I have read is Bloomability, by Sharon Creech. This book describes a girl named Dinnie and her adventures. She thinks that she is kidnapped by 2 very odd people, but it turns out to be her Aunt Sandy and Uncle Max. Dinnie feels as if she is being taken out of the country against her will. Dinnie is used to change-with her family constantly moving from place to place and state to state while her father searches for one new "opportunity" after another. But when her aunt and uncle take her away to an international school Switzerland, Dinnie feels that this might be one "opportunity" that isn't right for her. Read the book to find out what Dinnie will do in Switzerland...

I love books by mark twain. I've read Tom Sawyer, Hucklberry Fin and The Prince and the Pauper. Recently I've finished Catch 22 and the King Must Die series by Mary Renault. Mostly my dad recomends me books. Mary Renault's series was an amazing story and is well worth reading.

my favorite book is the tale of desperraux it is a book about a mouse that has just been born but he is very small and he was born with his eyes open then he runs out of the hole to find food but he herd the king playing his guitar for his daughter pea and he ends up falling in love with the pea and her fathers music and his brother tells on him and his parents through a council meeting and band him from the hole and he had to find a new home but will his love for the pea become royalty for him you will have to read the book to find out this is a great book.

Now I'm reading this book called The Angel Experiment, and the author name is James Patterson. At first I really didnt think it was going to be that good but I seriously take that back. That book is amazing it's really diffrent it kinda reminds me of the Twilight Series but I think the Twilight Series is still the best books in the entire world lolz. Now these books im reading are also a sequel. The kids in the story are 98 percent human ,and they are 2 percent bird and there are 6 of them. They live in a house on a moutain that noone knows of, and they have no parents they were experiments in a science lab until one of the scientist felt sorry and took them away and took care of them. But then he died and they took care of each other well I wont tell you the whole story cuz thats how far I've gotten but the books are good. Well actually they have there bigger sister Max she's 14 Years old and she's kinda cool to me and im actually in love with these books there really adventureous and very scientific and cool. But hopefully I will get to the next two sequels and then read the last book then I will be finsished. They are really good books.

ok now im 13 years old and I love to read like seriously but we got this thing at our school called Battle of the Books so we had to read 20 books and go against about 60 schools they will ask us questions and stuff about the books and who ever wins win but I had to read this book "Twilight" and I love that book ok this is the thing at first I didnt wanna read it cause it was too big (500 pages) but then I couldnt stop I was staying up all night reading it and just couldnt stop then I was finished (took me 5 days) so I stared to read other books but I couldnt get this on book out my head so then I re-read it, it took me 2 to 3 days at the most. Then I read the sequel which is called "New Moon" and it took me 2 days to read that then 2 days later I went to my library teacher and got the other sequel "Eclispe" and it took me 2 days to read that one also but it had more pages (new moon had like 525 and eclispe had 663) and I loveeeeeeeeee her books (the author is stephine meyer) the books is so thrilling I mean its kinda amazing how someone can right a book that good and extrodinary its wonderful. now the reason im so happy is because now she has the last sequel to the "Twilight Series" coming out august 2, 2008 which is called "Breaking Dawn" and I cant waittttttt I mean the books are amazing so now im going to read all the books from the begging so that means 3 times reading Twilight, 2 times reading New Moon and Eclispe and one time reading Breaking Dawn yay lolz but I love these books and want someone else to read them also like I said the author is Stephenie Meyer and just so you know she also the author of the new york time best sellers for her series............i know cool andddddddd she has her movie "Twilight" coming out december 12, 2008 yay please please read these books because they are wonderful............

I love to read so much, that right now I am reading 4 or 5 books . Its hard to read them all at once because if you get information from one book you think its from another book and you get confused.so far I am reading 1 Hannah Montana book , 1 heartland book , 1 Georgia nicholson book , and 1 silver birch express book .The silver birch express book is called " Things are looking grimm Jill" it is not in the series, the Georgia Nicholson book is called "On the bright side I am now the girl friend of an SG." it is the 2nd book in the series ,The Heartland book is called "coming home" it is the 1st book in the series, the The Hannah Montana Book is called "Super sneak " it is the 3rd book in the series.My favourite book is the Hannah Montana. I love hannah Montana And I love Miley too but they are the same person. She is my favorite star!

I love to read Hannah Montana books! I love to read. I am on book 11. It is called Sweet Revenge. So far mean girls Amber and Ashley make a cool list and Miley and Lily are on the bottem last page tied with Danny. But on singing with the stars Amber gets nervous and Miley felt sorry for her and that she got teased when she was little. Miley just found out. If Amber goes through the green door her hair will get all puffy. So Miley told Amber to go through the red door. Now Miley went through the green door. But Miley stars as Hannah. Instead of making Amber look bad Hannah made herself look bad on singing with the stars show. But after Lily makes Amber but not Ashely look bad. Amber opened her locker and she turned green! The next Hannah Montana book I am reading is Win or Lose the last one I read was Don't bet on it. I love Hannah Montana. I love her shows too. They are the same as the books I read. I hope you now like Hannah Montana books!

My class is reading a book called the "The City of Ember" by Jeanne DuPrau. It's a really good book and my class loves it! It's going to be a major motion picture in fall 2008. Jeanne Duprau has written a second book to the series called "The People of Sparks" and a third book called "The Prophet of Yonwood". The city of Ember is a great book and I can't wait to read the second and third book. I would Classify this book as sort of a mystery. I recomend this book and I think anyone would like it and want to read it. I dont want to tell you to much that happens in the book because every thing that happens is a surprise! Hope this helps.

Its about 5 girls who are called Dasiy, Emily, Bella, Amy and Chloe they have a secret club called the alphabet club because there letter that begins there names are a,b,c,d and e and Amy is having a sleep over birthday party and then they all want one!!
