There is a lot of authors in this world. They all right differently. But I have one favorite author named Patricia Reilly Giff. I really like all of her stories cause when I am reading the stories I always feel like the main character. When I read her books I never forget them. That's how good they are! My favorite author is Gail Carson Levine! I love her series, The Princess Tales, she is also the author of Ella Enchanted which was her very first book in 1998, and she won a Newbery Award for such good writing. In every Princess Tales book there is always a map at the beginning. Gail Carson Levine's books are full of life and magic. When I read any of her books, I feel like I'M IN THE STORY! When she writes a book, she has a very strong way to get the reader going. I recommend all her books if no one read them. In my opinian, she is the best author. I wonder what book will she write next? I can't wait!

I have four favourite authors so far: Lemony Snicket, Philip Pullman, Joanne K. Rowling, and Christopher Paolini. The "His Dark Materials" trilogy, by Philip Pullman, is, as its title suggests, rather dark and mysterious, but fascinating nonetheless. Lemony Snicket's attempts at sounding melancholy in "A Series of Unfortunate Events" are hilarious! They always bring a smile to my face. Christopher Paolini's trilogy "Inheritance" feels like it's real! J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" series puts a spark to my imagination. Right now, I'm writing my own book, but I'm not sure what the title will be.

J.K Rowling has a great imagination and can show other people her world.

Magyk is about a boy who was born his name is Septimus Heap. the same night he was born his father found a baby girl.Septimus was taken. Pronounced dead by the midwife.Is Septimus dead or is he alive. You'll have to find out if you read magyk. Flyte- Jenna was taken by her brother Simon into the badlands. Can they find Jenna.(Septimus's sister who was found the same night he was born.)Physik-Septimus dissapears into the mirror of time. Jenna goes after him. Can Jenna get septimus back in their own time?
