So what's this website all about?

Are you a kid 8 to 14 years of age? If you are, you can send us messages about books and reading from the 'Write' section of the menu. I will post your messages in the 'Read' section of the menu where other kids can read them. You can also read and write book reviews as well as read previews of books. Remember, only kids from 8 to 14 years of age may send me messages. If you are older than 14 and you wish to contact me, please click the "Send Me Email" link in the 'More' section of the menu.

My name is Alan L Brown. I'm a 64 year old retired school librarian. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and this is my website. I created this site on April 10, 1997. I have maintained it ever since. This is a personal website, run as a hobby. It does not contain any advertisements and it does not sell any products or services. The site is updated throughout the day with new messages from kids.
